MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini was recently exposed by this Swaziland News for allegedly using international trips to steal over forty thousand Rands(R40,000.00) per-day amid shortage of drugs in public hospitals.
Now, this publication reveals the documents substantiating these allegations, the PM is fast becoming a multimillionaire as due to the frequency of the trips, “he sometimes receives over R2million public funds within two(2) months”.
The PM allegedly instructed Government officials to prepare a special rate for him that comes with more money and a result, a memorandum from the Ministry of Public Service to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs leaked to this Swaziland News suggests that, the PM’s delegation was allocated $2,435.00(about R42,000.00 per-day) for the recent Italy trip.
But other State documents suggests that, the PM received a special rate of over R40,000.00 plus other allowances and in total, received over three hundred thousand Rands(R300,000.00) for the recent Italy and Zimbabwe trips.
The PM declined to comment about these allegations and eSwatini is facing a health crisis amid shortage of drugs in public hospitals, dozens have died since the crisis erupted.
